About Me

I obtained my Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Northwestern University, with a focus on working with children as young as age three, adolescents, adults, and families. My undergraduate studies were completed at DePaul University, where I earned a degree in Psychology with a minor in Sociology. In my private practice experience, I have cultivated a passion for helping individuals and families navigate challenges such as anxiety, depression, OCD, mood disorders, and life stressors.

I work with clients in both individual and family-based formats, addressing concerns across all stages of life. While my primary focus is on children and adolescents, I also provide therapeutic services for families and adults, ensuring that the broader system surrounding the individual is considered in the therapeutic process.

My approach draws from evidence-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Psychodynamic Therapy, Attachment Theory, and Play Therapy. These frameworks allow me to understand you as a unique individual, while also acknowledging the systems that influence your experiences. I tailor my approach to your needs, incorporating additional empirically validated therapeutic techniques as necessary.

I view therapy as a collaborative and empowering process. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you feel heard and motivated to actively engage in your healing journey.

I am a member of the American Counseling Association (ACA), reflecting my commitment to high ethical and professional standards in counseling.
