About Me

I am licensed in Illinois as a Licensed Social Worker (LSW).
I completed my Masters of Social Work at the University of St. Francis. Priorto being a part of LivingRite, I have experience in working in both residentialtreatment for addiction and co-occurring disorders as well as experience in other higher level of care facilities and outpatient programs.

I provide individual therapy, servicing adolescents typically starting at age 13 years through aging adults across the lifespan. My approach is client-centered. I also draw from empirically validated, evidenced based treatment approaches including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioral therapy (DBT), and cognitive processing theory (CPT). I have experience working with complex trauma, anxiety, depression, mood and behavior disorders, eating disorders, body image concerns, grief and loss, substance abuse, and other addictive behaviors. My work in this field is empathic, individualized, and inclusive. My values and my clinical practice is based on my belief that you are supported and I believe that recovery is possible, even if not always linear.

You are important and I am here to help you experience healing and growth. I believe in meeting you where you are, without judgment, and creating a space where you feel supported. My goal is to help you feel heard; while at the same time, building the skills and tools you need to create a life that feels meaningful and aligned with your values and who you strive to become. Together we can work on individualized goals that reflect what matters most to you as you navigate life’s challenges. It is important to me to provide you with a safe space to feel empowered to make meaningful changes.
