About Me
I was born and raised in the western suburbs of Chicago. In 2017, I graduated from Elgin Community College with a degree in Nursing, followed by my Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Illinois State University in 2021. While working as a critical care nurse in the ICU, I pursued and completed my Master’s degree in Nursing from Lewis University, specializing as a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP).
With over seven years of nursing experience—primarily in critical care—I have developed a deep passion for mental health, inspired by my time caring for patients in high-acuity settings who required both compassion and critical thinking. I am dedicated to working closely with my patients to identify their goals of care and to create personalized, evidence-based treatment plans that reflect those goals.
By integrating my medical background into my mental health practice, I aim to provide a comprehensive and holistic approach to care. My professional values center on dedication, compassion, and patient-centered practice. I am committed to ongoing growth and lifelong learning through continuing education and maintaining an open, curious mindset in all that I do.
I consider myself an avid traveler and have explored 22 states and 12 countries. I foster dogs with my wife by providing them with a loving home and a place to heal. We have rescued 44 dogs to date (with more to come). In my downtime I enjoy cooking, watching soccer, and spending quality time with my wife and dog.
