About Me
I was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and raised in a small town in the upper Northwest corner of Ohio. I came to Illinois in 2009 and have since made it home. I finished undergrad at the Columbia College of Missouri and have since completed my Masters in Social Work at the University of Illinois – Champaign Urbana.
My interest in this field really stems from my natural curiosity of asking “Why,” and I bring that same curiosity to my work. I intend on creating a safe space where you can ask the same questions for yourself and explore potential outcomes.
Areas of Specialty
I have competence and experience in working with individuals, ages 4-65 with ADHD, depression, anxiety, grief, and family difficulties. In addition, I have competence in working with those going through IVF or fertility treatments, or those experiencing fertility difficulties.
I intend on meeting you where you are and assist in identifying goals that resonate with you and that are equally manageable. Goals that are too big and they’re overwhelming. Too little and they’re uninspiring. This space is for you and together we will create a narrative that builds you up. In doing so, we will use various evidence based practices that help sustain the path.
