About Me

I was born and raised in Earlville Il. I remained in the area to raise my family. I received my Bachelors in Nursing in 2016 from Northern Illinois University.  I started my career working in the emergency department which is where I developed a true compassion for the mental health needs of patients in crisis.  I understand the mental health needs of the physically injured or ill patients and the effects it has on their family.  I decided to follow my calling of working with patients with mental health needs and worked several more years on an acute psychiatric inpatient unit. I completed my Masters of Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing in 2019.  Since graduating I have been treating patients in an outpatient private practice. I have experience and training to treat patients with psychiatric disorders across the lifespan and across practice settings, from hospitals to outpatient clinics.  I have a commitment to continue to gain further experience and knowledge to provide the best care possible in a growing area of need.
